During a Smart Home Summit presentation on YouTube, a caption revealed the likely date when we would see the Android 11, presumably for the Google Pixel devices first.

Google has posted release notes for the Android 11 Beta 2 on Android Developer site. Some fixes expected with this Beta build include gesture control behaviour and a fix that hindered the keyboard from appearing properly before. Also, the audio is now clear on loudspeakers, as it previously sounded distorted on certain speakers and the volume buttons behave better when the phone is on vibrate. You can enroll your Pixel 2, 3, 3a or 4 device to receive over-the-air updates for this build. Although there are still a number of issues throughout the interface, it is expected that they will all be resolved before the expected launch date on the 8th of September.   References
